FAQs

Why don't my comments show up right away?
Because we don't require users to register and activate an account, we need to verify legitimate posts. We do this by sending a confirmation email for each comment to the email address you associate with that post. You are then required to follow the link in order to "activate" your comment.

I'm not receiving my confirmation email. What do I do?
We have found that some email providers take longer than others to deliver our messages. If you haven't received it within a day of posting, most likely the email was delivered to your SPAM folder. You should check that folder and add us to your safe senders list.

When I confirm my comment, it shows with a red marker and not green. Why?
We require two levels of security. The first being the confirmation email you receive. The second is for a moderator to confirm your post once you've activated it. Posts that have been activated but not confirmed by a moderator will have a red icon next to them. This is meant as a caution to users that the post could contain objectionable material

When posting comments, HTML is stripped from my post. Why?
We don't allow HTML within comments and therefore strip all HTML prior to posting.
